Help Rohit continue his education
We met Rohit in 2016 when he was wandering the streets of Akola, famished and hungry, looking for a job to feed himself. When he ran into our volunteer Yunus, he was on the verge of collapse. We were amazed to hear that inspite of losing his parents when he was just 5 years old, Rohit was studying in the 12th student. But hunger, with no means to slake that hunger, were chasing him away from his studies and the chance of a better future.
With the help of our generous supporters, we provided money for Rohit’s books and with those books and his perseverance, he scored over 80% in board exams, without needing any extra classes. In 2017, he started his B.Tech Agriculture course, scoring 8.25 CGPA in the 1st semester, bettered by an 8.37 CGPA in the 2nd semester. Now, he is awaiting the scores for his 3rd and 4th semesters. Knowing his dedication, sincerity and sheer desire, we are sure he will perform exceptionally well once again.
For his third year, spanning the 5th and 6th semesters, he has already received a scholarship of Rs. 5,000. He needs Rs. 15,000 more to manage his education expenses of Rs. 20,000. We need your help to ensure that he can continue his wonderful progress and go on from strength to strength in his chosen field.
